1. On-site plant assessment

On-site plant assessment focuses majorly on assessing a plant's current health quality and understanding the necessary steps which need to be taken to optimize the plant’s performance.

The aspects addressed during the study are:

  • > Estimate the reasons for underperformance in your plant
  • > Identify the causes of degradation and nature of defects in the modules
  • > Evaluate the health of your BoS (both civil and electrical)
  • > Suggest possible and most feasible solutions to improve generation from your     solar power plant

The major tests included in the assessment are:

  • > Drone and hand-held thermography of modules
  •     and other BoS components
  • > Module and string IV curve measurement
  •     (for 1000V and 1500V system)

2. Technical Due Diligence & Construction Support

To analyze and estimate the OPEX, CAPEX and revenue generation from the solar asset under bidding, technical performance of the plant is a crucial consideration. This study incorporates all the factors essential for understanding the technical aspects of the plant along with other maintenance and documentation evaluation.

Technical Due Diligence focuses on following aspects:

  • > Healthiness assessment of on-site testing of modules and other BoS     components via EL Imaging, Drone/Handheld thermography, mobile labs, visual     inspection, and earthing and structure coating testing
  • > Complete plant design, documentation, data review and technical assessment     of the following points:
    •  - Cable loss assessment according to as-built design
    •     and cable schedule
    •  - Near and far shadow analysis
    •  - Design documentation review and red-flags with
    •     financial implications
